TRAINING DETAILS
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education is an interdisciplinary approach aimed at developing students’ scientific thinking, problem-solving, and creative abilities. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can provide innovative solutions at every stage of STEM education, making learning experiences more interactive, personalized, and efficient.
The European Union’s 2021-2027 Digital Education Action Plan emphasizes strengthening STEM education through digital transformation. This plan aims to integrate AI into STEM applications and encourage students to familiarize themselves with these technologies. Furthermore, the EU focuses on exploring AI’s potential to prepare the workforce of the future through STEM education.
This training aims to teach educators how to use AI in STEM applications and help students develop their skills in this field.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
Through this training program, participants will develop the following competencies:
- Enhance teachers’ ability to effectively use AI in STEM education.
- Explore the potential of AI in STEM applications and bring this potential to life with practical examples.
- Introduce AI tools that develop students’ problem-solving, design, and creativity skills.
- Increase the accessibility and inclusiveness of STEM education, ensuring every student benefits from these technologies.
EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
During the course, participants will:
- Understand how AI can be used in STEM education.
- Learn to use AI-based tools to help students better understand STEM subjects.
- Test how AI can be integrated into STEM projects and adapt these tools to educational programs.
- Design AI applications that develop students’ scientific thinking, analytical problem-solving, and creative design skills.
